Buying diamonds on Ebay is a tricky business. But after reading MDC's rave reviews and feedback, I decided to take a chance. And am I glad that I did!
The 3 stone diamond necklace that I purchased is a stand-out. The color and clarity of the diamonds are superior and the light-play is spectacular. The price was very fair as well. As soon as my finances permit, I plan to buy again.
I dealt with David, who was patient, reassuring, honest and promptly answered at length my myriad of questions, some of which must have been pretty annoying.
If you want a positive experience buying high quality diamond goods at reasonable prices, then forget about your local retail jewelry store. MDC is where you should do your diamond shopping.

What a great experience! David and his team are the best...
I originally inquired about a ring I saw on ebay. When I met with David, that ring had been sold, so we spent time me looking at several stones. I took plenty of time and never felt rushed. When I finalized the stone, I chose the setting. The result was a beautiful one-of-a-kind dazzling ring that my wife (she said yes) absolutely loves. She receives compliments from everybody. I've had it appraised by 2 seperate jewelers and each one placed it at nearly double what I paid.
As a first time diamond buyer, it's easy to waste alot of time talking to people who just want to rip you off. Go to MDC and sit with David- it will be one of the best decisions you'll make. His prices are great and the service is outstanding.

Got a 1.5 caret yellow diamond engagement ring, ring looks great, came in a timely manner with all the proper appraisal paperwork. The soon to be finance should love it :) They didn't negotiate too much on the price but I guess everybody's gotta make a buck.

Picking out the setting and diamond was so much fun then when my fiance proposed and i saw the ring together for the first time i was speechless. We received superb service from David and Rosa at MDC Diamonds, if you have any hesitation at all buying from overseas (we're in the UK) then if our experience is anything to go by don't. David was always on hand to answer the numerous questions we had and after about 5 days from ordering my engagement ring it arrived safely in the UK. It is so beautiful and we are so pleased with the service and exquisite quality of the diamonds and setting. We will be returning to consult with David and Rosa for our wedding bands next year!

Once I got it, I can't believe how gorgeous it was even without the center stone yet. I could not wait to get it to my jeweler. Once it was set with my center diamond it was absolutely stunning! My jeweler did it that same day! My Fiance is amazed at the quality and value we got for it. He's even looking on your site for his wedding band.
I absolutely love my ring, it's perfect! Everything that I had hope for. I had been searching for this specific setting for over a year now. I was close to paying almost 5,000.00 for something similiar to this ring setting designed by Natalie K however they never got back to my jeweler. I kept searching online and Iam so happy to have found your website a year later. On Monday, August 2, 2010, I visited the MDC Diamonds staff at their office in the popular NYC's diamond district. The staff, especially Rosa, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. They had a no pressure approach and advised me in choosing my asscher cut diamond earrings, which I receive complements on almost daily. Rosa took the time to show me the differences between two types of asscher cuts and provided me with the option to choose each stone to be set, which were ready the next day.
Thank you very much to all the staff at MDC Diamonds for your knowledge, prompt service and friendliness. It was a pleasure.
